Dear respected members, colleagues, and well-wishers,

It is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I share with you the vision and direction of NEPAS for the years 2025–2027. Our mission remains unwavering: to ensure the holistic development of Nepalese children by protecting their rights, promoting their health, and empowering the paediatric fraternity through collaboration, policy advocacy, and strategic interventions.

Under the direction of the present executive committee, NEPAS is committed to translating this vision into tangible outcomes. We will work diligently to:

• Promote academic excellence through continuous learning, training, and professional advancement.
• Strengthen clinical standards, emergency care, and standard treatment guidelines.
• Expand our outreach-digitally and physically, ensuring that every child, regardless of location, benefits from our efforts.
• Foster impactful research, publish scientific evidence, and advocate for child health at national and international levels.
• Strengthen governance with clear systems, policies, and frameworks that support transparent and effective functioning.

We are also setting a historic goal: the establishment of the Nepal College of Paediatrics — to provide structured postgraduate diplomas, fellowships, and academic opportunities for our members. This will be a milestone in paediatric education and healthcare advancement in our country.

I take this moment to sincerely thank all our members, past leaders, paediatricians, nurses, allied health professionals, parents, and partner organizations who have supported NEPAS. Your trust, dedication, and collaboration are the driving forces behind our continued progress.

The road ahead demands dedication, innovation, and unity. I assure you that with the energetic management of the present executive committee, NEPAS will work tirelessly to fulfill these commitments — with integrity, transparency, and unwavering focus on the well-being of Nepal’s children.
